Joseph2 & Macey

Interested in adoption??? Or, if you would like to get more information on any of the children listed, please message me. Many of these children only have days before they are taken off of the agency specific focus list (where they are advocated for with more information and pictures) and returned to the large shared list, where their file has a great chance of being lost in the sea of faceless files....please consider taking a step of faith today on behalf of one of these deserving children.

($2,500 grant available)

Macey

Why do they have to wait?

So many children are out there..some in situations better than others. We are in the middle of our busy lives, worrying about our schedules, cable bills and cell phones, the latest technology, how we look, what we drive and if we measure up to those around us...meanwhile, these kids are in need of family. It is SO easy to close our eyes and steer clear of the need--if we don't look, it doesn't affect us--trust me, I have been there...it is so easy to keep it just out of our mind's reach. But, these are innocent children...they need love, food, care and nurturing...someone to kiss the hurts away and give them loving 'mommy and daddy' attention. They deserve to laugh and be carefree-to enjoy being children....but for many, every month and year that passes, the more unlikely it is that they will be adopted, more unlikely that anyone will look at their file and actually consider them. I pray that as word gets out about these kids, people will be convicted to honestly look at their lives and evaluate if they would be open to adoption. What is God calling you to do in a child's life??? We don't want to face it.....SO THEY WAIT....

"Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12

David & Serena

David
male, 2 years old
($1,500 grant available)
David has a deformed left forearm and left hand and a bilateral oblique inguinal hernia.

David is an adorable 2 year old little boy. He was found at an intersection and is said to have “two bright eyes like twinkling stars in the sky”. David is talkative and has a ready smile. He is said to have a temper and will cry loudly to protest if he does not like something. When the caretakers gaze at him, he responds with a sweet smile. If they talk to him he laughs with a wide open mouth while responding. The caretakers love to cuddle him and kiss his small face. If you would like additional information and photos of David, please message me.

Allie & Micah

The 2 children I am posting about today are both 7 years old....just think about what you were doing at 7 and the good memories that you have with friends and family from that time in your life...think of the impact you could have on one of these kids lives by bringing them into your family. The funny thing with adoption is...sometimes we set out to try to make things better for them and we end up getting the biggest blessings of all....message me for more information or email me at jenpmorrison@gmail.com.

Allie
female, 7 years old
($1000 grant available)

Micah
Male, 7 years old
($2500 grant available)

So They Wait....

this is totally off the cuff... I seriously need to be getting my kids ready for school...but as I thought about posting about a child this morning, I thought "it is not fair to post about these precious kids only when there is nothing that I personally need to post, so I decided to start a blog specifically for them. That is the least I could do. The name came to me in 2 seconds, I typed it in and it wasn't taken...so here we go. No frills this morning.....I can work on the blog stuff later...just want to get right down to it. These kids need families to step out in FAITH. SO THEY WAIT.....

Christopher, male, age 1 1/2
Post Operative Spina Bifida, umbilical hernia
($2,500 grant available)

***PLEASE pray for these children, they need us to intercede on their behalf
***pass the information on and get it out there-you never know who may pass it on to just the right person
***consider what God is calling YOU to do in the life of an orphan

I also want to add a boy from yesterday that is close to my heart...
This is 'Joseph'*...he will be too old to be eligible for adoption when he turns 14 in December....please pray hard for this sweet boy...I just can't bear the thought of him not having a family. Pray for God's will in his life....
